IFACSTA will be offering three professional development sessions July 20 - July 21. Sessions will be virtual. After you register, you will be given a link to the virtual session. You will also receive a link to the IFACSTA Business Meeting.
Monday, July 20, 2:00 p.m. ---- Janet Holden (Kansas FCS Teacher of the Year) will discuss teaching techniques that led her to earn "Kansas FCS Teacher of the Year". She had a display at the 2019 American Association of Family and Consumer Science Conference in St. Louis.
Tuesday, July 21, 10:00 a.m. ---- IFACSTA Business Meeting and Awards
Tuesday, July 21, 1:00 p.m. ---- Jill North, Professor in ACES at the University of Illinois.
Jill will discuss programs in their Food, Nutrition, and Hospitality area, and will include many career opportunities available for students.
The Butter Book - you will receive links to two lessons from The Butter Book - Croisants and Chocolate Croisants and Thin Apple Tart. The Butter Book is a large collection of videos developed by Pastry Chef Jacuy Pfeiffer, that focuses on creating many desserts and some other topics.
